Ruthnéie
My Story
At just four months old, Ruthnéie was found in the remote mountain village of Camp Perrin during a mission trip with members of our Haitian church. Her tiny body told a story of pain—her torso, arms, and legs covered in infected burns. Her mother, suffering from severe mental illness, was harming her while practicing voodoo. With no father to protect her, Ruthnéie’s chances of survival were heartbreakingly slim.
Her grandmother, desperate to save her, begged us to take her in.
Ruthnéie became the first baby welcomed into the ARISE Children’s Village. Today, she is safe, healing, and surrounded by love—a precious life rescued from abuse and now filled with hope for the future.
