Natacha
My Story
Natacha is the youngest of three sisters from Molest Nicolas in northwest Haiti and one of 14 siblings. Her life changed forever when her mother died giving birth to their youngest sibling, and just five months later, her father passed away, overcome with grief. After losing both parents, Natacha and her sisters were separated and placed with different relatives. Natacha was given to a family member who soon realized they couldn’t properly care for her. During a mission trip to the area, Madame Fenelon’s sister heard about Natacha’s situation and contacted Wilson, our social worker, who arranged for her and her sisters to come to ARISE Children’s Village.
When Natacha arrived, she was severely malnourished and had skin irritations. Today, she is safe, healthy, and thriving under the loving care of the Frédéric family—beginning a new chapter filled with hope and opportunity.
